The more people try to bring Taylor Swift down, the more she seems to prove that they don't know her at all. Despite negativity about her love life, her singing abilities and her seems-too-good-to-be-true nice girl demeanor, this country star keeps pushing forward and making her mark on the world.
This weekend she attended the ribbon cutting for the Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Taylor funded the $4 million project, which features a classroom space, a hands-on instrument room and more.
Taylor shared at the ceremony, “I’m really excited about this music education center and the fact that right now they have three different classes going on today. It’s really exciting that we can be here on a day when they’re not only unveiling it, but they’re starting to actively use it today.”
The singer also plans to be actively involve at the center, “We’ve been talking about different programs I can be involved in. I hate to call it a lecture because that sounds like I’m yelling at people, but we could do a Q&A talking to students here and a songwriters discussion would be really fun to have at some point.”
Kudos to Taylor! What a great way to give back!
