Chocolate Pepita Clusters
Delicious roasted pumpkin seeds covered with chocolate make the perfect sweet-salty snack. Try the recipe for chocolate pepita clusters.
- pepitas: 1 cup
- oil: 1 tablespoons
- salt: to taste
- milk or semisweet chocolate: 4 ounces
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Toss the pumpkins with a little oil and salt and spread onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. Toast for about 7 to 9 minutes, or a light golden brown.
Step 3: While the seeds are toasting melt the chocolate in the microwave. When the seeds are ready toss them with the chocolate.
Step 4: Scoop the pumpkin seeds into balls and place them on a plate lined with wax paper. Freeze them for about an hour, or until set. They will spread a little as they cool. Enjoy!
