Strawberry Toasted Coconut Smoothie
Did you resolve to slim down for 2014? Start with a super breakfast---like this easy smoothie recipe.
- low-fat vanilla yogurt: 1 cup
- coconut water: ½ cup
- frozen whole strawberries: 1 cup
- sweetened coconut flakes: 1 tablespoon
Step 1: In a pitcher of your blender, add the yogurt, coconut water and strawberries (in that order).
Step 2: Blend the ingredients until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes. Pour into a glass.
Step 3: Heat a small skillet over medium heat on the stove. Add the coconut flakes and cook, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Remove from heat and spoon on the top of the smoothie. Enjoy immediately.
Hint: Use a spoon to enjoy the toasted coconut!
